By now many of us have witnessed on social media the unfolding of the nightmare wildfires that have affected thousands of our wine country friends and family. From childhood homes being reduced to ashes to the dream winery melting into a river of wine.
All of the fires hit close to home but perhaps the most devastating for Wine Country was the Tubbs Fire & Atlas Fire that has reportedly burned over 34,000 acres. All fire fighters and evacuation centers worked tirelessly to save our small, historic community. Many of you have been asking how you can help support and give back to aid the cause of rebuilding Napa & Sonoma.
There are a few ways you can help!
#1 – Stimulate the Economy: Drive business to the wineries by taking this opportunity to buy wine from all Napa & Sonoma wine regions that have suffered loss.
#2 – Plan a trip to Wine Country: If you stay away, wine country suffers. Both Napa & Sonoma are built on tourism and hospitality. Plan a trip, stay in a hotel, eat in the restaurants, and see #1.

We are offering 2 very exclusive experiences that feature both Napa & Sonoma wines from the vineyards and wineries that were hit hard by the fires. 50% of all proceeds for these experiences will be donated to the Napa Valley Community foundation and the Community Foundation of Sonoma County.

Wine Blending Experience
A unique and fun challenge; guided, instructed, and presented by one of our top sommeliers. This experience is done as a team wine blending challenge with focus on collaboration, creativity, inclusion, instruction and overall presentation. Work as a team to come up with a blend that best represents the style and philosophy of the team. Each wine is voted upon by a panel of judges and the winning blend emerge as the tasters choice! The wines used in this experience are from vineyards and wineries directly affected by the Napa & Sonoma fires.
All participants will receive a winning bottle labeled with the company logo!

Sommelier Wine Dinner
Intimate, friendly and one of our most sought after experiences. The Wine Militia Sommeliers will craft a unique wine pairing with each course featuring mouth watering selections of Napa & Sonoma wines to enhance and ensure balance in each bite. Enjoy four courses with six exquisite wines.

WHO WILL WE BE DONATING TO?
Napa Valley Community Foundation has mobilized its Disaster Relief Fund and is coordinating relief and recovery efforts.
Community Foundation Sonoma County has set up the Sonoma County Resilience Fund to help with the long term recovery efforts that will be needed.
