This event is designed to be a 'come-as-you-are' style of an event.

Zero expectations to impress, just be you and be with us. We love sharing wine, food and stories and do so in a warm and safe environment. Bring a buddy if you want or come solo, stay for the food and the wine, hell play a game with us after and spin some vinyl. You belong here.

Blind Wine Tasting
Showdown Event
On March 21st, 2024 - Our Friends Lauren and Charlie over at Club 14 Wine Bar (now pouring at Oak & Iron in Thousand Oaks) have agreed to a throw down blind wine tasting challenge of Wild West glory, going toe-to-toe with the heavy weight bottle slingers FESS PARKER WINERY hailing from the Santa Ynez Valley in Santa Barbara Wine Country.
You are invited as well to witness and partake I. This challenge- FESS PARKER VS. THE WORLD!
This will be an unreal fun evening of friendly competition as Fess Parker bravely puts their wines up against some global favorites.
All participants will receive a blind flight of 6 wines and an answer sheet. It will be your job to determine the varietals and regions.
Additionally, we will be blind voting on which wines you prefer in each showdown. All answer sheets will be collected and top scores will receive prizes!
There will be two seatings (5pm and 7:30pm), and you will have roughly 1.5 hours to lock in your answers. The wines will all be revealed at the end of the night and awesome prizes will be awarded to top scoring participants! You do not need to be present to collect your prize.
For those coming in at 5pm, your seat will be reserved for 2 hours. After that, we recommend walking upstairs to grab a cocktail from Oak and Iron!
